Indication:

For relief from itching, rashes, irritation, dryness, insect bites, sunburn, chickenpox, prickly heat, eczema, and minor allergic skin conditions while keeping skin soothed, moisturized, and protected.

Description:

This formulation is a dermatological lotion/cream designed for the relief of itching, burning, rashes, and minor skin irritations caused by conditions like eczema, insect bites, prickly heat, sunburn, or contact dermatitis.

  • Aqua (Water/EAU): Base solvent.

  • Light Liquid Paraffin & Glycerin: Skin emollients that lock in moisture and prevent dryness.

  • Aloe Vera Extract: Natural skin soother with anti-inflammatory and healing properties.

  • Calamine Powder & Bentonite: Provide a cooling effect, reduce itching, and absorb excess oil/moisture.

  • Propylene Glycol & BRIJ (emulsifiers): Stabilize and maintain lotion consistency.

  • Dimethicone & Simethicone Emulsion (30%): Act as skin protectants and anti-foaming agents.

  • Pramoxine Hydrochloride: A local anesthetic that relieves itching and pain.

  • Bronopol: Preservative to prevent microbial contamination.

  • Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose: Thickener and stabilizer.

Usage Information

Dosage

Clean and dry affected area before use. Apply a thin layer 2–3 times daily, or as directed by a doctor. For external use only. Avoid eyes, nose, and mouth.

Side Effects

Mild burning, stinging, or redness (rare). Allergic skin reactions (rash, swelling) in sensitive individuals.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Pramoxine, Calamine, Aloe Vera, or preservatives. Avoid application on deep wounds, severe burns, or infected skin. Not recommended for infants under 2 years unless prescribed.
