Description:

Spiramycin 3 Million IU is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria and certain parasites. It is particularly effective against toxoplasmosis, respiratory tract infections, ENT infections, and oral/dental infections.

Spiramycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping the growth and multiplication of bacteria. It is often preferred for patients who are allergic to penicillins and is known for better gastrointestinal tolerance compared to other macrolides.
