Description:
Bisoprolol Fumarate 5mg + Dapagliflozin 10mg is a unique fixed-dose combination medication used in the management of patients with coexisting hypertension (high blood pressure) and type 2 diabetes mellitus, especially those at risk for cardiovascular disease.
Bisoprolol, a cardioselective beta-1 blocker, lowers blood pressure and heart rate by reducing the workload on the heart, helping to manage hypertension and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events.
Dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor, reduces blood glucose by promoting glucose excretion through the urine and also provides cardiovascular and renal protective benefits.
This dual-action combination is especially useful in patients who require both blood pressure and blood sugar management, improving adherence by combining two essential medications in one tablet.
