IVABRADINE 5 MG TABLETS

Chronic stable angina (chest pain) in patients with normal heart rhythm. Chronic heart failure with reduced heart pumping function, in patients with a resting heart rate ≥70 bpm, despite standard treatment.
Description:
Ivabradine 5 mg is a heart rate–lowering medication used mainly for chronic heart failure and stable angina (chest pain) in patients with normal sinus rhythm.
It works by selectively inhibiting the If (“funny”) current in the sinoatrial (SA) node, thereby slowing the heart rate without affecting blood pressure or heart contractility. This reduces oxygen demand and improves heart efficiency.
Tags:
- Reduces heart rate safely without lowering blood pressure
- Improves heart pumping efficiency in heart failure
- Decreases frequency and severity of angina attacks
- Helps improve exercise tolerance and quality of life
