Description:

Cefpodoxime Proxetil 200 mg + Dicloxacillin 500 mg ER is a powerful combination of two broad-spectrum antibiotics, designed to tackle mixed bacterial infections, especially those caused by beta-lactamase-producing strains.

  • Cefpodoxime is a third-generation cephalosporin that acts against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

  • Dicloxacillin, a penicillinase-resistant penicillin, targets Gram-positive cocci, particularly Staphylococcus aureus.

The extended-release formulation of Dicloxacillin ensures long-lasting plasma concentration, improving treatment outcomes and patient compliance. This combination is highly effective in treating skin & soft tissue infections, bone infections, ENT infections, and respiratory tract infections.
