Indication:

Nasal Congestion associated with Cold & Sinusitis

Description:

Xylometazoline HCl 0.05% + Benzalkonium Chloride 0.05% is a topical nasal decongestant used for fast and effective relief from nasal congestion caused by:

  • Common cold

  • Sinusitis

  • Allergic rhinitis

  • Upper respiratory tract infections

Xylometazoline Hydrochloride (0.05%) is a sympathomimetic agent that constricts the blood vessels in the nasal passages, leading to reduced swelling and easier breathing.
Benzalkonium Chloride (0.05%) acts as a preservative with mild antiseptic properties, helping prevent contamination of the nasal spray.

This combination is typically recommended for children aged 6–12 years and adults requiring a milder formulation.

Usage Information

Dosage

Children (6–12 years): 1–2 sprays/drops in each nostril, every 8–10 hours Adults (mild cases): 1–2 sprays per nostril, up to 3 times daily Maximum duration: Do not use for more than 5 consecutive days Usage Tips: Clear the nose before application Tilt the head slightly while spraying Clean the nozzle after use
