Description:

Rifaximin 200mg is a non-systemic, broad-spectrum antibiotic that works locally in the gastrointestinal tract. It is minimally absorbed into the bloodstream, making it particularly effective for treating gastrointestinal infections without causing systemic side effects.

🔬 Indications:

  • Travelers' Diarrhea caused by non-invasive E. coli

  • Hepatic Encephalopathy (adjunct therapy)

  • Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO)

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Diarrhea (IBS-D) (in some off-label cases)

Travelers' Diarrhea: 200mg 3 times daily for 3 days Hepatic Encephalopathy (adjunct): Dosage varies, typically 550mg twice daily (higher strength) Route: Oral Administration: With or without food Note: Always follow physician’s instructions.
