Description:
This combination includes:
Ceftriaxone Sodium (250mg): A broad-spectrum third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.
Sulbactam (125mg): A beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects ceftriaxone from degradation by resistant bacteria, thereby enhancing its antibacterial effect.
Together, they provide powerful action against a broad range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including many drug-resistant strains. It is administered parenterally (via injection) and is used in moderate to severe infections.

Usage Information
Dosage
Route: Intramuscular (IM) or Intravenous (IV) injection Adults: Typically 1–2 grams/day, divided doses Pediatric: Adjusted by weight, usually 50–75 mg/kg/day Frequency: Once or twice daily as directed by physician Reconstitution: With sterile water or WFI as per label instructions

Contraindications
Do NOT use in: Known allergy to cephalosporins or penicillins Neonates with hyperbilirubinemia (especially preterm) Patients with severe hepatic or renal dysfunction without dose adjustment Concurrent use with calcium-containing IV solutions in neonates
