Dosage
Route: IV or IM injection Adults: Commonly 1.5g (1 vial) once or twice daily Children: Based on body weight (e.g., 50–100 mg/kg/day) Reconstitution: Dissolve in 3.5ml–10ml of WFI depending on route Duration: 5–14 days as per infection type and physician advice
