Description:
This combination consists of:
Cefixime 50mg: A third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.
Ofloxacin 50mg: A broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase, preventing DNA replication.
Together, they offer synergistic antibacterial action against a broad range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including resistant strains. This combination is especially useful in pediatric infections where oral administration may not be feasible or effective.
The formulation is provided with WFI (Water for Injection) for reconstitution before intramuscular administration.

Dosage

Contraindications
Do NOT use in: Known allergy to cephalosporins or fluoroquinolones Children with tendon disorders Patients with epilepsy or CNS disorders Severe renal impairment without proper monitoring Concurrent use with drugs prolonging QT interval
