Description:
Cefixime 200mg DT is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic formulated as a dispersible tablet for ease of administration. It is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, particularly when a high oral bioavailability is needed and patient compliance is essential. The DT (dispersible tablet) form allows the tablet to be dissolved in water for easier consumption—especially for those who have trouble swallowing pills.
It acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the death of the bacteria.
