Description:
Ketoconazole 2% w/w is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent used topically to treat fungal and yeast infections of the skin and scalp. It belongs to the azole class of antifungals and works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes, thereby eliminating the fungus.

Usage Information
Dosage
Cream/Lotion: Clean and dry affected area Apply thin layer once or twice daily Do not cover with airtight dressings unless directed Use for at least 2 weeks or as prescribed Shampoo: Apply to wet scalp or skin Leave on for 3–5 minutes before rinsing Use twice weekly for 2–4 weeks, then once weekly for maintenance

Contraindications
