Description:
Cefpodoxime Proxetil 50mg is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic formulated as a dry syrup for pediatric use. It is reconstituted with WFI (Water for Injection) before use and effectively treats a wide range of bacterial infections in children.

Mechanism of Action:

Usage Information
Dosage
Usual Pediatric Dose: 10 mg/kg/day in two divided doses Reconstitute with Water for Injection (WFI) up to the marked level Shake well before use Administer with a dosing cup or spoon Store reconstituted syrup in a refrigerator and use within 7 days Note: Dosage may vary based on the type and severity of the infection. Always follow doctor’s instructions.

Contraindications
