Description:

This dry syrup, when reconstituted with the supplied WFI (Water for Injection), provides:

  • Amoxicillin 400mg

  • Clavulanic Acid 57mg
    per 5ml of suspension.

This combination is a broad-spectrum, beta-lactamase-resistant antibiotic, ideal for treating bacterial infections in children.

  • Amoxicillin is a penicillin-class antibiotic that stops bacterial growth.

  • Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes, extending amoxicillin's efficacy.

Usage Information

Dosage

Reconstitution: Add sterile WFI up to the indicated mark and shake well. Usual Dose: 25–45 mg/kg/day in divided doses (amoxicillin component) Shake well before each use. Administer with food to reduce gastrointestinal upset. Use the reconstituted syrup within 7 days (refrigerated). Always consult a pediatrician for the correct dosage.

Contraindications
