Description:

This is a powder for oral suspension containing Amoxicillin Sodium 200mg and Clavulanic Acid 28.5mg per 5ml after reconstitution. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections caused by beta-lactamase producing organisms.

  • Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.

  • Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacterial resistance to amoxicillin.

Together, they effectively treat infections such as:

  • Respiratory tract infections (sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)

Usage Information

Dosage

Shake well before each use. Dose depends on age, weight, and infection type (follow doctor’s prescription). Common dose: 20-40 mg/kg/day (amoxicillin component) divided every 8-12 hours. Complete the full prescribed course.
