Indication:
for the topical treatment of impetigo caused by susceptible bacteria.
Description:
Ozënoxacin 2% w/v is a topical quinolone antibiotic indicated for the treatment of impetigo and other superficial bacterial skin infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive organisms such as Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes.
It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication through inhibition of DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, leading to rapid bactericidal action.
Ozënoxacin 2% is designed for external use only, providing targeted antibacterial activity with minimal systemic absorption. It is suitable for both pediatric (above 2 months, as prescribed) and adult patients.

Usage Information
Dosage
Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily for 5 days, or as directed by a physician. Clean and dry the affected area before application. Wash hands before and after use. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes. Do not cover with airtight dressings unless advised by a doctor.
Side Effects
Generally well tolerated. However, some patients may experience: Mild skin irritation Redness or itching Burning sensation at application site Dryness If severe irritation or allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ozënoxacin or quinolone antibiotics Not recommended for viral or fungal skin infections Avoid use on large open wounds unless prescribed Not for ophthalmic or oral use
