Dermatophytoses, Candidiasis, Pityriasis Fungal Infections Of The Skin
Description:
Eberconazole Cream 1% w/w is a broad-spectrum topical antifungal medication used for the treatment of various superficial fungal infections of the skin. Eberconazole nitrate belongs to the imidazole class of antifungals and exhibits fungicidal and fungistatic activity by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. This cream effectively treats conditions such as athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), ringworm (tinea corporis), and candidiasis.
It is particularly useful due to its dual action—antifungal and anti-inflammatory—making it suitable for infections accompanied by itching, redness, or irritation. Its non-greasy base ensures quick absorption and ease of use.
