Description:
Amorolfine 0.25% is a broad-spectrum topical antifungal agent used for the treatment of fungal infections affecting the skin and nails. It belongs to the morpholine class of antifungals and works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane. This leads to disruption of cell membrane integrity and eventual death of the fungal cells. Amorolfine is effective against dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds, making it ideal for managing conditions such as onychomycosis (nail fungus), athlete’s foot, ringworm, and cutaneous candidiasis. Its low concentration makes it suitable for daily application, with minimal irritation and excellent tolerability.

Usage Information
Dosage
For skin infections: Apply a thin layer once or twice daily on the affected area after cleaning and drying For nail infections: Apply once or twice weekly; file nails and clean before each application Wash hands thoroughly after application Continue use for at least 1 week after symptoms clear to prevent recurrence
