Description:
Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride 10 mg is a first-generation antihistamine with dual therapeutic actions—it provides effective relief from allergic conditions such as hay fever, urticaria, and dermatitis, while also acting as a mild anxiolytic and sedative. It works by blocking histamine (H1) receptors, thereby reducing symptoms like itching, swelling, and rashes. Additionally, Hydroxyzine exerts central nervous system depressant effects, making it useful for managing anxiety, tension, and sleep disturbances. It is non-habit-forming and has muscle relaxant and antiemetic properties.
