Description:

Povidone Iodine 5% w/w + Ornidazole 1% w/w is a powerful topical antimicrobial and antiseptic combination used to treat and prevent skin infections in wounds, cuts, burns, and surgical sites.

  • Povidone Iodine is a broad-spectrum antiseptic that kills bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa by releasing free iodine.

  • Ornidazole is an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent effective against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. It enhances the antimicrobial activity by targeting deep-seated bacterial infections.

Together, this combination offers dual action: surface-level disinfection (via iodine) and deep antimicrobial activity (via ornidazole), making it especially useful in infected or at-risk wounds and post-surgical sites.
