Description:
Povidone Iodine 5% w/v is a broad-spectrum topical antiseptic solution widely used for skin disinfection and wound care. It combines iodine with a polymer carrier (povidone), allowing for a slow and sustained release of iodine, which effectively kills bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protozoa. This makes it highly effective in preventing infections in minor cuts, burns, abrasions, surgical sites, and other skin injuries.

Usage Information
Dosage
Clean the affected area gently with water if needed. Apply a thin layer of Povidone Iodine 5% solution or swab on the wound or skin. Repeat 1-3 times daily until healing is complete. Avoid excessive use to prevent irritation.
