Description:
Itraconazole 100 mg is a broad-spectrum triazole antifungal medication used to treat a wide range of superficial and systemic fungal infections. It works by inhibiting fungal cytochrome P450 enzymes, thereby disrupting ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of fungal cell membranes.
Itraconazole is highly effective against dermatophytes, yeasts (like Candida spp.), and molds (such as Aspergillus). It is particularly useful in treating onychomycosis, systemic mycoses, oral thrush, vaginal candidiasis, and histoplasmosis.

Usage Information
Dosage
General Dose: 100–200 mg per day depending on the infection For Skin Infections: 100 mg once or twice daily for 1–4 weeks For Onychomycosis: 200 mg twice daily for 1 week/month for 3–4 months Important: Always take with food and complete the full course as prescribed Note: Dosage must be tailored by a physician based on the type and severity of the infection.
