Description:
Levosalbutamol 0.63 mg is a bronchodilator used via nebulization to treat and manage reversible obstructive airway conditions like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains the R-enantiomer of salbutamol, offering a more targeted β2-adrenergic receptor action with fewer side effects. This formulation helps relax bronchial muscles, alleviating symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath.

Usage Information
Dosage
Adults & adolescents (≥12 years): 0.63 mg via nebulizer 3 times daily Children (6–11 years): 0.31–0.63 mg 3 times daily Use with a jet nebulizer and compressor Do not exceed prescribed dosage Shake well before use; use immediately after opening
Side Effects
Headache Tremors Nervousness Dizziness Palpitations Mild throat irritation Serious side effects are rare but may include rapid heartbeat, chest pain, or allergic reactions. Seek medical help if these occur.
Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity to Levosalbutamol or its components Patients with significant cardiac arrhythmias or coronary insufficiency Use cautiously in patients with: Hyperthyroidism Hypertension Diabetes Seizure disorders
