DPI DEVICE
Indication:
for the effective delivery of inhaled medications in patients with asthma, COPD, and other obstructive airway diseases, helping to relieve bronchospasm, reduce inflammation, and improve breathing efficiency.
Description:
A Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI) is a breath-actuated, propellant-free inhalation device used to deliver medications directly to the lungs in the form of dry powder. It is designed for chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, and other obstructive airway diseases. DPI devices are widely preferred for their portability, ease of use, and reduced environmental impact compared to MDIs (metered-dose inhalers).
Unlike MDIs, DPIs do not require hand-lung coordination, making them ideal for many patients. The powder formulation is inhaled forcefully to deliver medication deep into the bronchial tree.
