For maintenance treatment of COPD
Description:
Budesonide 400μg + Formoterol Fumarate Dihydrate 6μg is a combination inhaler used for the maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Budesonide is a potent inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) that reduces airway inflammation, while Formoterol is a long-acting β2-agonist (LABA) that relaxes bronchial muscles and eases breathing.
This low-dose LABA and high-dose ICS combination is ideal for patients requiring enhanced anti-inflammatory effect with controlled bronchodilation, especially in those with frequent exacerbations or poor response to ICS alone.
