Description:
Gabapentin 100 mg is an anticonvulsant and neuropathic pain reliever commonly used to treat partial seizures, postherpetic neuralgia, and neuropathic pain. It modulates the activity of calcium channels in the nervous system, thereby calming overactive nerve signals.
Gabapentin is especially effective in managing chronic nerve-related pain conditions such as diabetic neuropathy, fibromyalgia, sciatica, and nerve pain after shingles. It may also be prescribed off-label for anxiety disorders and insomnia.
