Description:
Chlordiazepoxide 5 mg + Amitriptyline 12.5 mg is a fixed-dose combination used to treat patients suffering from anxiety accompanied by depression, somatic symptoms (like headache, GI distress), and tension-related disorders.
Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine that provides immediate anxiolytic and sedative effects.
Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant that works by enhancing norepinephrine and serotonin activity to elevate mood, improve sleep, and manage pain symptoms.
