Description:
Triclofos Sodium is a non-benzodiazepine sedative-hypnotic, commonly used as a short-term sedative or pre-anesthetic agent in children. It acts by enhancing GABA activity, leading to central nervous system depression and sedation. It is often administered orally in pediatric cases for sleep induction, especially before diagnostic procedures like EEG or imaging.

Dosage
Children (Infants to 12 years): Usual dose: 25–75 mg/kg body weight as a single oral dose Adjust according to age, weight, and procedural requirement Administer 30–45 minutes before the procedure Only under medical supervision
