Indication:
Treatment of Gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux)
Description:
Lansoprazole 30 mg ODT is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid by blocking the final step of acid production. It is formulated as an Orally Disintegrating Tablet (ODT) that dissolves quickly in the mouth without water, making it ideal for patients with difficulty swallowing.
This formulation is used to treat:
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Peptic ulcers
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
NSAID-induced ulcers
H. pylori eradication therapy (as part of combination treatment

Usage Information
Dosage
Adults: 30 mg once daily before meals Place tablet on the tongue and allow it to dissolve naturally Do not crush or chew If needed, it can be taken with a small amount of water Duration of use depends on the condition being treated. Use as prescribed.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Lansoprazole or other PPIs Not recommended for children under 12 without medical advice Avoid in patients with severe liver disease unless adjusted by a doctor Use with caution in osteoporosis or hypomagnesemia
