Description:
Esomeprazole 10 mg is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) formulated as enteric-coated granules to ensure protection from stomach acid until it reaches the intestine. It reduces gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase pump in the gastric parietal cells. Usage Information
Dosage
Children (1–11 years): As directed by pediatrician, often once daily before meals Adults: Typically 10–20 mg daily, adjust as per clinical need Granules can be sprinkled on soft food or dissolved in water for ease of use Administer 30 minutes before meals
