Description:
Domperidone 1 mg is commonly formulated as a pediatric oral drop or low-dose suspension, used to treat nausea, vomiting, reflux, and gastric motility disorders in infants and young children.
Domperidone acts as a dopamine (D2) receptor antagonist, increasing the movement of the stomach and intestines and helping prevent reflux and vomiting without crossing the blood-brain barrier significantly — making it safer for pediatric use compared to some other antiemetics.
