Description:

This sterile injectable formulation contains Amoxicillin Sodium (400 mg) and Clavulanic Acid (57 mg), a potent β-lactam/β-lactamase inhibitor combination. It is used for treating moderate to severe bacterial infections caused by β-lactamase-producing organisms.

  • Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.

  • Clavulanic Acid protects Amoxicillin from β-lactamase enzymes, extending its spectrum to resistant strains.

Supplied with WFI (Water for Injection) for reconstitution, this formulation ensures safe and effective parenteral administration in hospital and clinical settings.
