Description:
This formulation is a broad-spectrum antibiotic dry syrup combining:
Amoxycillin (600 mg): A penicillin-class antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.
Clavulanic Acid (42.9 mg): A β-lactamase inhibitor that protects Amoxycillin from degradation by resistant bacteria.
This powerful combination is used to treat bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, otitis media, sinusitis, urinary tract infections, and skin/soft tissue infections. The 600 mg/42.9 mg strength is typically used in pediatric patients.

Usage Information
Dosage
Route: Oral (Reconstitute before use) Children (based on body weight): 25–45 mg/kg/day (Amoxycillin component) divided in 2 doses For 600 mg: Typically 5 ml twice a day for children weighing 20–30 kg Shake well before use Use within 7 days after reconstitution Administer at the start of a meal to reduce GI side effects Always follow pediatrician’s instructions

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to penicillins, cephalosporins, or any beta-lactams History of cholestatic jaundice or hepatic dysfunction with previous amoxicillin-clavulanic acid use Severe renal impairment (dose adjustment required) Do not use in viral infections (e.g., flu, common cold)
