Description:
This injectable formulation combines Cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, and Ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, offering broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. Both antibiotics work synergistically to combat a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria by disrupting bacterial cell wall synthesis and DNA replication, respectively.
The product is provided as a dry powder that requires reconstitution with Water for Injection (WFI) before intramuscular or intravenous administration. It is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, gastrointestinal infections, and other serious bacterial infections.

Usage Information
Dosage
Reconstitution: Mix the dry powder with the supplied Water for Injection (WFI) before use. Administration: Intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection as per physician’s direction. Adults: Dosage and frequency based on infection severity and clinical response. Pediatrics: Dose adjusted per weight under medical supervision. Complete the full course as prescribed to prevent resistance.

Contraindications
