Cefixime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents resistant bacteria from breaking down Cefixime, thereby enhancing its effectiveness.
