Description:

Cefixime 50 mg + Clavulanic Acid 31.125 mg (with WFI) is a synergistic injectable antibiotic formulation combining a third-generation cephalosporin (Cefixime) with a beta-lactamase inhibitor (Clavulanic Acid). Cefixime acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, while Clavulanic Acid prevents the degradation of Cefixime by beta-lactamase enzymes, thus enhancing efficacy against resistant strains of bacteria. This combination is especially effective in pediatric patients suffering from complicated respiratory, urinary tract, or ENT infections. Supplied with Water for Injection (WFI) for reconstitution.
