Description:
This combination features Cefpodoxime Proxetil, a third-generation cephalosporin, with Clavulanic Acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Side Effects
For Pediatric Dry Syrup (100mg/62.5mg per 5ml) Typical dose: 10 mg/kg/day in two divided doses Shake well before use Use reconstituted suspension within 7 days Example Dose (child 10 kg): 5 ml twice daily = 200 mg Cefpodoxime + 125 mg Clavulanic Acid per day For Tablets (Adult Use) 1 tablet twice daily or as directed by the physician Preferably taken after food to improve absorption and reduce gastric upset
