Indication:

Description:
Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride 4mg is a first-generation antihistamine used to treat allergic reactions, hay fever, urticaria (hives), and seasonal rhinitis. It is also widely prescribed for its appetite-stimulating properties, especially in underweight individuals or those recovering from illness.
As an antiserotonergic and anticholinergic agent, it effectively blocks histamine (H1) receptors and serotonin, reducing allergic symptoms and promoting appetite in certain conditions.

Usage Information
Dosage
Adults: 4 mg, 2–3 times daily (max 32 mg/day) Children: Dose adjusted based on weight and age (prescribed by physician) Appetite stimulation: Usually 2–3 doses/day before meals Always follow doctor’s prescription. Do not self-medicate.
