Description:
Baclofen 10 mg is a centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant primarily used to manage spasticity caused by neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, or stroke. It works by mimicking the effects of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA, reducing nerve signal transmission in the spinal cord and thereby relaxing stiff or tight muscles.
Baclofen is also occasionally used off-label for certain types of neuropathic pain and substance withdrawal therapy.
