Indication:
for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) to reduce joint inflammation, pain, and stiffness, and to improve physical function by suppressing inflammatory cytokines and modulating immune response.
Description:
Iguratimod 25mg is a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and other autoimmune inflammatory conditions. It works by inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines (such as TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6) and reducing joint inflammation and damage. Iguratimod also has immunomodulatory effects, helping to control disease progression and improve joint mobility.
It is usually prescribed as part of long-term therapy for RA, either as monotherapy or in combination with other DMARDs.

Usage Information
Dosage
Usual adult dose: 25mg twice daily, or as prescribed by a rheumatologist. Take after meals with water. Regular monitoring of liver function and blood counts is recommended.
Side Effects
Nausea, stomach discomfort, diarrhea. Elevated liver enzymes. Reduced white blood cell or platelet count (rare). Headache, dizziness, skin rash.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Iguratimod. Patients with severe liver dysfunction. Severe blood disorders. Pregnant or breastfeeding women (contraindicated). Children (safety not established).
