Description:

Febuxostat is often prescribed when allopurinol is not tolerated or contraindicated.

Usage Information
Dosage
Usual adult dose: 40mg once daily May be increased to 80mg daily if uric acid remains high Take with or without food Hydration is advised to prevent kidney stones
