indicated for the management of intermittent claudication to improve walking distance in patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD). It works by increasing blood flow to the legs and reducing muscle pain caused by inadequate circulation
Description:
Cilostazol 50 mg is an antiplatelet and vasodilator medication used primarily for the treatment of intermittent claudication—a condition caused by poor blood circulation in the legs. Cilostazol improves blood flow by inhibiting platelet aggregation and dilating blood vessels, helping to increase walking distance and reduce leg pain during physical activity.
Cilostazol is also beneficial in patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and can help prevent stroke and vascular complications in specific cases under medical supervision.
