Description:
Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 1gm/100ml** is a ready-to-use intravenous infusion formulation indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever in adults and children over 10 years. It is particularly beneficial when oral or rectal administration is not feasible, such as in post-operative patients, ICU settings, or emergency care.
It provides rapid and predictable analgesic and antipyretic effects with a good safety profile. The formulation contains 1g Paracetamol in 100ml isotonic solution, minimizing irritation and ensuring even plasma distribution.

Usage Information
Dosage
Adults & adolescents (>50 kg): 1g (100ml) IV over 15 mins every 4–6 hours; max 4g/day Children (10–50 kg): 15 mg/kg every 6 hours; max 60 mg/kg/day Administration: Infuse slowly over 15 minutes; do not mix with other drugs or fluids

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to paracetamol Severe hepatic impairment or active liver disease Patients with known glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency Alcohol abuse or chronic liver disease (relative contraindication)
