Indication:

Helps in decreasing the amount of mucous; maintaining the hepatic concentration of glutathione in the body, strengthening the immune system, and helping in the metabolism of sugar, works as a non-essential amino acid for the proper functioning of joints and tendons, and reduces the constant and unwanted muscle contractions in the brain.

Usage Information

Dosage

Dosage depends on patient weight, nitrogen requirement, and clinical status Generally 1–2 g amino acid/kg/day, infused slowly over 8–24 hours Administer via central or peripheral vein based on osmolarity Must be used under strict aseptic conditions
