Description:
Linezolid 600 mg/300 ml is an intravenous antibiotic used to treat serious infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria, including drug-resistant strains such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE). Belonging to the oxazolidinone class, it inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, preventing bacterial growth and helping the immune system eliminate infection.
Commonly used for complicated skin and soft tissue infections, pneumonia, and bloodstream infections, the IV form ensures rapid and effective delivery, especially in hospitalized patients.

Dosage
Typical dose: 600 mg IV every 12 hours Infuse over 30–120 minutes as prescribed Duration depends on infection severity, generally 10–14 days
