Description:
Vancomycin Hydrochloride 1000 mg is a glycopeptide antibiotic used to treat serious or life-threatening bacterial infections caused by Gram-positive organisms, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death.
It is administered intravenously (IV) for systemic infections and orally (at lower doses) only for intestinal infections like Clostridioides difficile colitis.

Dosage
