Description:
Cefepime 1000mg is a fourth-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for the treatment of moderate to severe bacterial infections. It has a broad spectrum of activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including strains resistant to earlier-generation cephalosporins. Cefepime is especially effective in treating hospital-acquired infections such as pneumonia, urinary tract infections (UTIs), skin infections, intra-abdominal infections, and febrile neutropenia.
It is administered by intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) injection and is commonly used in hospitals due to its powerful, fast-acting antibacterial properties.
