Description:
Lansoprazole 30mg Injection is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce gastric acid secretion in patients who are unable to take oral medication. It is indicated for the short-term treatment of acid-related disorders, including gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. By inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺ ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells, Lansoprazole effectively lowers acid production, promoting mucosal healing and symptom relief.
This injectable formulation provides rapid acid suppression and is often used in hospital or critical care settings.
