Description:
Hydroxyprogesterone Caproate 250mg Injection is a synthetic progestogen used primarily to prevent preterm birth in pregnant women with a history of spontaneous preterm delivery. It mimics the action of natural progesterone by maintaining uterine quiescence and preventing contractions. This long-acting injectable formulation is administered intramuscularly, usually on a weekly basis during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy to support pregnancy continuation.
