Description:
Enoxaparin 60mg is a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) used as an anticoagulant to prevent and treat blood clots by inhibiting Factor Xa and thrombin. It is commonly prescribed for the prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), and for clot prevention in patients undergoing surgery or with prolonged immobilization. The 60mg dose is typically used for patients requiring a higher anticoagulant dose based on weight or clinical condition.
Administered subcutaneously, Enoxaparin offers predictable and effective anticoagulation with a better safety profile than unfractionated heparin.
